Four things that make the quote accurate

None are required, but each one gets you a real figure instead of a question:

1. Rough square footage. Length times width of the driveway or deck. Within a hundred square feet is close enough.
2. Whether it has ever been sealed. This is the single biggest factor. If it has and it has gone cloudy or flaky, the job changes completely.
3. What the joints look like. If you can see dirt instead of sand between the pavers, or weeds coming through, mention it. That tells us a re-sand is needed.
4. Which surfaces. Driveway, pool deck, lanai, walkway, or all of it. Bundling is nearly always cheaper than booking twice.

What happens next

1. We call back the same day and arrange a time to come and measure.
2. The measure takes about twenty minutes. Area, paver type, joint condition, and whether anything is already on there.
3. One written price, with stripping shown separately if it is needed. Nothing is booked until you approve it.
4. We pick a date around the weather, because sealer and rain do not mix.

A quick thing you can check now

Pour a cup of water on the pavers. If it soaks straight in and darkens them, they are unsealed and ready to go. If it beads up, there is still sealer working. If it soaks in but the surface looks milky or patchy, that is a failed sealer and it will need stripping.
